It’s Christmaaaaas – well, just about! But before everyone disappears into a blur of wrapping paper, late-night cheese boards and questionable festive TV specials, we wanted to pop in and wish you a very warm, very merry Christmas from all of us here at Hog Roast Carlisle.
Looking back, 2025 has treated us incredibly well. We’ve been here, there and everywhere, feeding crowds big and small, meeting brilliant people and rolling out some of our favourite menus to date. From gorgeous wedding receptions on sunny lawns to cosy autumn gatherings and end-of-year work dos full of festive cheer, it’s been one of those years that we won’t forget. And that’s all down to you.
You’ve welcomed us into so many special moments: big birthdays, family celebrations, company parties, retirement send-offs, reunions, and all sorts of “just because” get-togethers. Every booking we’ve catered; every plate we’ve served, every chat we’ve had has been a reminder of why we love what we do. Food is only half of it – it’s the people we cook for that make the real magic happen.
So as we head into Christmas, full of gratitude (and maybe a bit of mince-pie-induced joy), Hog Roast Carlisle is already starting to think about what comes next.
Our 2026 diary is filling up already and it’s shaping up to be an exciting one that we can’t wait to get stuck into. But like our bellies when we spot an all-you-can-eat buffet… it’s far from full!
