So far 2026 hasn’t exactly rolled out the red carpet when it comes to weather. If anything, it’s gone the opposite way. Snow one day, rain the next, then a surprise icy spell – just to keep us on our toes. No matter where you are in the UK right now, you’ve probably felt like being stuck in a never-ending loop of padded coats, scarves and gritted teeth.
Outdoor plans? Not a chance. At least not yet.
Luckily, Hog Roast Stanwix doesn’t pack up and hibernate just because the skies are misbehaving. Otherwise we’d never get anything done! But one of the things we pride ourselves on is being able to set up just about anywhere. Indoors, outdoors, tight spaces, big open halls – our kit is happy wherever it lands. That flexibility means we’ve still been busy serving up proper feasts, even while the weather does its worst outside. Still, we have to admit… we’re itching to get back out under open skies.
