Hog Roast Scotby Helps The Class Of 2025 Celebrate Prom In Style!

Hog Roast ScotbyThe last day of school hits different. You’re buzzing about the future – uni plans, gap years, new jobs, maybe even moving out for the first time. But there’s also that weird lump-in-your-throat feeling, knowing some of the people you’ve seen every day for years… you might not see again. Throw in a bit of exam-result dread, and yeah – it’s a lot.

So when prom rolls around, it’s not just about the outfits and the music. It’s that one final big moment to laugh, dance, and make a few more memories.

This year, the 2025 leavers from a local high school wanted something special. And they got it – fairy lights everywhere, a huge marquee, music pumping… and front and centre: a full hog roast, served up by our Hog Roast Scotby caterers.

As the sun dipped below the trees, you could smell the roast from across the field. It pulled people in like a magnet. There were lads in tuxes and girls in sparkling dresses queuing up with phones out, snapping stories for Insta, and practically drooling over the smell of pork in the air.

As always, Hog Roast Scotby had arrived at the venue way before anyone else had shown up. This gave the meat plenty of time to slow-roast so it was melt-in-your-mouth tasty by the time the music kicked off. We served all the good stuff too: crunchy crackling, soft baps, apple sauce, stuffing, veggie sides, colourful salads, and even a massive grazing table loaded with meats, cheeses, olives and fruit.

The food wasn’t just dinner – it turned into a bit of a hangout spot. People drifted over between songs, catching up, swapping stories, grabbing seconds. It had that laid-back, festival feel that made everything feel extra chill, even with the emotion of the night hanging in the air

For loads of the students, it was their first proper hog roast – and by the looks of the empty plates, it went down a treat.

Prom 2025 was a night to remember. And if we’re being honest, Hog Roast Scotby’s hog roast might’ve stolen the spotlight – not that we’re complaining!
