Hog Roast Kirkcambeck – Catering For The Small Occasions As Much As The Big

Hog Roast KirkcambeckWhen it comes to event dining everyone likes to imagine massive events with hundreds of guests, but often our dining here at Hog Roast Kirkcambeck can be just for a small handful of folk looking to enjoy a comfortable and personal occasion for themselves.

Don’t get us wrong, at Hog Roast Kirkcambeck we love the massive events and dishing out masses of food, but there is something extra personal and special to the smaller occasions, even when they are in service to some really big life moments. For example, this past week we catered for a wedding which ended up being one of these more intimate occasions with only a select few friends and family members of the bride and groom in attendance. It made the occasion far more intimate for those that were there, and also allowed our chefs to create more of a personal dining service for our customer. It felt less like catering and more like being a personal chef to a wonderful occasion for an evening, and that is perfectly fine by us!

Hog Roast KirkcambeckThis was the wedding of the new Mr and Mrs Nolan who had told us a while back that they had little interest in a massive, lavish affair for their special day. The pair agreed that doing so sounded more exhausting than rewarding, so instead they opted for just a quiet service with their own friend conducting the service, and just a few family members and friends in attendance. The total number only added to 14, which made for a very intimate service for our chef.

Mr Nolan had first tried Hog Roast Kirkcambeck’s dining with his work some years back and never forgot our lamb roast from that day. He came searching for us to see if we could do both that and a hog roast for their small wedding dinner. That was more than fine by us, and with so few to cook for we were able to really get a good read on exactly what everyone wanted so that we could cater near enough personally to each guest.

It was a wonderful evening for all, and just goes to show that even the small events can be as rewarding and brilliant as the big, lavish ones!
