Beyond the hog roast, the other dishes we chose as part of our menu were just as ridiculously tasty! From the roasted potatoes to all the different salads we picked there was something to fill everybody’s plates. The food was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you could really tell no corners were cut when making everything. The whole team were incredible!

The Spitting Pig is a great company with a fantastic team! The atmosphere was great and the guests loved the food. I was very glad to know that there is a vegan/vegetarian option on all of the menus as we had a few vegetarian guests. The menu choices are great- we opted for the BBQ menu which was so tasty.
The weather wasn’t very great as it was raining and very windy but the team got on without making a fuss and allowed us to enjoy our night. The set up and service were great! The team were happy to accommodate all our needs and made our night stress free! Thank you to the Spitting Pig.

The food was absolutely delicious – everybody said they loved it. The venue manager was highly impressed too. (Said he preferred the southern bbq menu to straight roast hog.) There never seemed to be a queue or bottleneck getting served.
I over-catered and got loads of leftovers. I have just had five lumps of cajun chicken for tea (and had bbq pork for breakfast).

The team arrived early, set up independently, served delicious food, and tidied up after themselves making for a great day out.
All this was done with a smile and with total professionalism.
The food catered for both meat-eaters and veggies, was accompanied with delicious sauces, and had refined touches such as crackling. The whole pig also made for a cracking image!

It was fab ..we absolutely loved it.
John arrived on time , the set up was quick and efficient . When it came to be served it was professional , the plates and cutlery were high quality. The hog was excellent as were all the trimmings, wraps and baps . I would highly recommend it to anyone who wanted something a bit different with Wow factor.. All of our guests were very complimentary. There was plenty to feed the number of guests and some went back for more .
Overall great value for money. The chef and server were great tidying everything away leaving us with nothing to do 🙂 I would have this again ….
