Clara’s hen party was a day to remember, and Hog Roast Hayton was thrilled to be included in the festivities! With best friend and maid of honour, Chelsea, in charge of organising the celebrations, every detail was meticulously planned to ensure a day of laughter, fun, and of course, delicious food.
The morning kicked off with an inflatable assault course, setting the tone for a day filled with wacky antics and high spirits. From goofy games to a sumo wrestling contest, the ladies threw themselves into the activities with gusto, working up quite the appetite in the process.
As hunger pangs set in, it was our privilege to step in and satisfy their cravings with our Alfresco Menu. While the ladies were busy with their morning adventures, our Hog Roast Hayton catering manager had been hard at work, preparing a feast fit for royalty.
A succulent suckling hog took centre stage, providing ample sustenance for the 20 guests. The meat, tender and bursting with flavour, left everyone in awe. Accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, applesauce, and crispy crackling, each bite was a firework of taste sensations.
But the hog roast was only the beginning. Our side dishes added a vibrant touch to the meal, with offerings like heritage tomato and mozzarella salad, gourmet coleslaw, and roasted new potatoes tickling the taste buds. For those opting for a meat-free alternative, our grilled vegetable and halloumi kebabs with flatbreads and tzatziki dip proved to be a hit with vegetarians and meat lovers alike.
The antipasti platters, loaded with Italian cold cuts, cheeses, and artisan breads, added a touch of sophistication to the spread, providing the perfect accompaniment for guests to graze on throughout the afternoon.
And who could forget dessert? Tangy tarte au citron and rich chocolate-smothered profiteroles elicited cheers of delight, rounding off the meal on a sweet note.
With appetites sated and spirits soaring, the ladies were ready for the next phase of their day: a pamper session followed by a wine tasting. As they bid farewell to their feast, Hog Roast Hayton ensured that any waste was disposed of off-site and packed up our catering unit, leaving not a trace behind.
