Charlie and Emma’s journey to marital bliss began with a secret getaway to Greece for an intimate wedding ceremony in early April. With just two witnesses by their side, they exchanged vows against the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean, enjoying the simplicity and romance of their special day.
But as much as they cherished their private nuptials and honeymoon that followed, Charlie and Emma were eager to share their joy with family and friends back home. And so, upon their return, they planned a belated reception to celebrate their union, enlisting the help of Hog Roast Kirkbampton to ensure their big day was nothing short of spectacular for their 125 guests.
From the moment they reached out to us, John, our dedicated catering manager, was by their side, guiding them through the process with ease and expertise. With our Hog Roast Dining Menu chosen as the evening’s feast, Charlie and Emma were excited to see their vision come to life.
When the big day rolled around, Hog Roast Kirkbampton arrived at the couple’s chosen venue – an events hall within a nearby hotel – ready to impress. Our crew wasted no time in setting up our grill and serving tables, after which John meticulously prepared the star of the show – a succulent hog roast, resting on a bed of sage and onion stuffing.
As the meat slow-cooked to perfection, the team turned their focus to the side dishes. Using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, they created vibrant salads and flavourful coleslaw. Handmade burger patties and vegetable skewers were also placed on the grill and left to sizzle while rolls, wraps, and condiments were set out for guests to help themselves.
While Hog Roast Kirkbampton was dressing the dining tables with crisp white linen and real crockery and cutlery, Emma and Charlie arrived to add the finishing touches, filling the space with balloons and banners that added to the festive atmosphere. Guests soon began to arrive, drawn in by the tantalising aromas that filled the air.
With plates piled high with delicious grub, guests settled in to enjoy the festivities. Laughter filled the hall as friends and family mingled, danced, and celebrated the love shared by Charlie and Emma.
