As festivities wind down and chocolate eggs are relegated to memories of sugar-induced bliss, Easter 2024 has officially come to a close. We hope you and your lovedones had a fantastic time celebrating, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who chose to include Hog Roast Carlisle in their Easter festivities. It was truly a pleasure to be a part of your celebrations, helping to create unforgettable memories for families across the city.
One event that stands out in our minds is a community affair masterfully organised by the incredible Leanne. Designed with families in mind, this Easter Sunday extravaganza offered a plethora of entertainment options to keep both young and old entertained throughout the day.
From traditional Easter egg hunts to creative crafting workshops, egg and spoon races to egg decorating competitions spanning different age groups, and even an Easter-themed bake-off challenging participants to showcase their culinary prowess, there was no shortage of fun and excitement at this event!
But perhaps the biggest hit of all was the petting zoo, featuring a charming array of chickens, rabbits, pygmy goats, and ponies. The children were absolutely delighted, and the joy on their faces was a truly heart warming sight.
And who could forget about the food – after all, what’s a celebration without some delicious grub to enjoy? Hog Roast Carlisle had the honour of serving up our tasty BBQ menu, tempting attendees’ taste buds with our delectable selection of handmade British beef burgers, grilled sausages, succulent chicken kebabs, finger-lickin’ spareribs, veggie burgers, and BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls. Complemented by pasta salad, coleslaw, and mixed fries, our offerings were met with resounding approval from the crowds.
Hog Roast Carlisle stall remained a hive of activity throughout the day, with 
guests eagerly queuing up for seconds and even requesting our business cards – a testament to the quality and flavour of our offerings. In particular, our 6oz burgers drew rave reviews, with many declaring them the best they’d ever tasted! We couldn’t have asked for a better event to be a part of, and we’re immensely grateful to Leanne for including us in this wonderful celebration.
